About the Project

The India-Japan Diplomacy Initiative is spearheaded by founder, Shivaan Kothari. It is a project crafted to democratize access to political education and careers in diplomacy. Harnessing a three-pronged approach, the initiative has created substantial strides towards empowering socio-economically disadvantaged students across Asia. Zooming into these subparts, IDI is one such example. It is a podcast series that serves as an engaging exploration of political education. Another initiative under the e India-Japan Diplomacy umbrella is IDI Leaders. This is a webinar series that dives into the integral and intricate concepts and facets of diplomacy. Through these complementary programmes, the India-Japan Diplomacy Initiative hopes to shape the future of diplomacy in India by providing essential knowledge and skills fortification initiatives. The creation of an open-access data-based couple with successful fundraising efforts only highlights Shivan’s commitment to bridging the educational gaps. The goal of this initiative is to make a tangible impact on communities in need by providing opportunities through education access and knowledge resources.
